Why don't you get that 00 z in the texas section, only has like 6xxxx miles, built and ready to go for $9500.

Getting a 150k mile car and spreading it over 5 years is pretty ridiculous, you said you would double up on the payments so why not just get a 2.5-3 year payoff plan and save on the interest?

becuase I dont want to put myself in a tight spot money wise since I will be having a baby in december I need a car for myself and one for my g/f (the reason Im selling my third gen). My bank will only finnce me for 3yrs on a 2000 model, so it will come out to roughly $380 monthly. The 02 Z is CLEAN and should be less than $200 monthly

Ok, I remember you now, dude you shouldn't even be looking at an ls1 if your trying to save up for a baby, having a baby is a huge expense, you probably don't realize how much your going to spend on him/her. Your young though, I remember being hard-headed when I was a youngin...lol.

Good luck with that rear facing car seat in an LS1...........

For real man, get a real DD and save up for the LS1 later. Im telling you from experience, go buy something that gets good gas mileage. It may be clean now, but 144k is a lot to ask of stock parts. When **** starts breaking, you will be putting yourself in a tight spot money wise..... replacement parts are not cheap, and neither is having only 1 car because the 144k mile turd is sitting in the garage. You really need to be thinking about this a lot more.

dude your going to pay 14k after its paid off. i got my 2000 formula ws6 with 90k on it for 9,800. if you got cash buy it cash. or if you can get a lone buy something with low miles that dosent have 144k thats high for 9k. and your insurance in the state of texas your mom and dad will have to put you as the driver of the car and it will bump you folks insurence throught the roof becasue of your age.i am 26 and paid $98 full covrege. and i have a perfect driving record so far.one thing to remember that i hope your folks credit if great because now the insurance companys are using that to give you a rate. good luck on you finding.

that's a rough guesstimate, I myself didn't start looking at LS1's till I was 20/21 and it was going to be 260ish for me alone for Full coverage on a 02 Formula I was looking at..we get a lil higher insurance cost down here in the Gulf area since the Gulf Of Mexico likes to send a few hurricanes our way
