its really hard people want like 24+K for some.....If i had that kind of disposal income for a car, then i wouldnt be getting a lightning(cobra, Z06)
Some people are just out of their minds sometimes, and its sad when some people fall for it.
lightnings suck for gas mileage, hope you don't plan on driving much. Hell, you can slap a magnacharger or whipple on any GM 2-dr 5.3L and go hurt some lightning feelings. Doesn't have to be a Ford...
They do suck for gas mileage but i drive maybe a total of 5-7K miles a year.
Ill be at school most of the time, but the lightning just looks mean as **** in my opinion. I sat in one the other day and the suede SVT seats are really comfortable aswell.

My credit union had one for sale, knowing I would have to be driving 16-18K miles a year made me not want to get one because the potential gas mileage I would be getting. Also another thing to consider, a lot of newer trucks have wayyyyy nicer interiors in comparison to the Lightnings. Their cool trucks though if you want to spend the money for one, I have seen some very quick ones.
Ya.
Well I have decided my mind again, and will be selling my "toy" and skipping the whole go fast thing untill I graduate(1 yr or less). This car i have and probably my next hot rod is consuming ALL my money and taking me away my concentration from school and stuff. So I think im just gonna get myself a nice car, that i cant really mod(haha). Will be going to look at a 2002 Denali this weekend.
When I graduate i will probably be buying one of the new camaros/challengers/etc.
p.s. and no Im not leaving ls1tech
Car is up on ebay for sale..

I'll be selling mine pretty soon. It's a red 03 with roughly 46,000 miles. Only a few mod's don't have any times b/c I've never taken it to the track. I mainly drive the SS around town. Looking to get a normal truck with more space.
Bassani mids with pypes cats
Magnaflow catback
5 lb. pulley supposed to be a 6 but it see's around 13-14 lbs. of boost
Cold air
tgk plugs for added boost
AEM digital Wide band guage
Diablo Sport tuner
autometer boost guage
RF 500 watt amp
10" bazooka tube amp
and some diamond audio coaxals.
I put the parts on around 38,000 miles when the warranty was done. Looking to get 21,900 for the truck. I would stick to the 03-04's, the older ones have less threads on the plug holes so they are known to spit out plugs.
