Default non moving citation in austin

I got pulled over for speeding but the officer gave me a warning but he did give me a citation for failure to change addres on my license. Does anyone know if this is a fixable offence where i get it fixed and just pay a small fee? Also, in a couple of weeks i will be moving back to the address on my license which will make changing my address pointless. Any suggestions?

Why would you have told them that your address is different than on the license?

AHH, gotcha.

I bet it wouldnt be to expensive. I would call the judge before your court date and just pay them, maybe that way you can avoid court costs also.

thats when you tell them the insurance card is wrong lmfao, i never fall for that **** anymore, dont tell them that your address is different, they are basically saying "Do you want a ticket?" ..........hmmmmmm YES!

The best way out of this, is go down and get it changed and bring that proof to court and get it dismissed. Did it once, never do it again.

well depends, like irving, when you get something dismissed they charge you like $10 fee, but dallas, ive never gotten a fee when getting a dismissal so it would be a very small fee but get it changed and you should get it dismissed.

Call the municipal court that is closest to you. If the cop circled a particular court and/or judge, call that number listed on the ticket. Any and all of your questions about the warning will be answered.
