Need help diagnosing a probrem!!
Need help diagnosing a probrem!! The problem is that when I floor it and my RPM's go above 5k my engine would sputter and backfire and finally turn off. I can restart it but the tach Tach stops working for a few seconds.
I have changed the sparkplugs and wires, fuel filter, disconnected the MAF, replaced the 02 sensors and replaced the Crank position sensor. I have had this problem since I owned the car, which has been about 4 years. The car runs good except when I floor it.
Any suggestions? I have tried the other sections but had no luck.

no, It only happens after it gets over 5k RPMs. Checking the fuel pressure would me it could be the gas pump or a restriction on the fuel line. Could it be injector related?
