caught a theif today....
caught a theif today.... so 5 weeks ago my tail gate was stolen off my truck 
. it was at the bar across from my apartment complex. filed a police report etc., etc., etc. So today I'm driving home from work and a friend calls and says he is behind a truck like mine with the same tailgate 
(shaved w/ no top cap which is RARE around here) He follows them to a house about 1/8th mile from my old Apt. so I haul *** home 
, grab protection and head over to that area. I drive by and there's a white truck with smashed up fender and bumper with my tail gate on it. I look in the garage and there's several other chevrolet tail gate sitting on the floor several different colors. I call the cops and park at a spot about 5 houses down 
. 3 cops show up in about 4 minutes and all hell breaks lose. what a rewarding feeling!!! they can't give me mine back yet since they have to invesitgate, etc etc. Bottom line they're fucked and I could care less if I get mine or not. **** A THEIF...

Where are you located? Maybe you said and I just missed it but a friend is missing a tailgate from his maroon F250 in Houston, maybe same if in the area.
I know there are tailgates stolen all the time but if there is a chance his is around, he needs to know!
