tranny burned?

tranny burned? Hey guys, I was rolling to the house when i tried to pass a car up and all of a sudden my tranny rev'd up to 6,000 rpms. I knew something with the tranny happened. I changed the fluids in it around 3 weeks ago and everything was fine. So I pull into my neighborhood and it starts making a loud noise like something was hittin inside, at first I thought motor but no gears went in, not even reverse. So I wanna hear from you all what you all think? Its an a4 and what tranny should i go with? Ya I will do some racing and I will spray, so let me know. It had a shift kit, 3500 TCI SSF as well. Are those things going to be usable or should I get something else?

Can I know why It toasted the tranny by changing the fluid? Its my third one burnt so I need to know where in the world can I get a good tranny thats going to hlod up? Is the TC no good?

Bump, changed my fluid and filter and gasket because I had leak and wouldnt ya know a month, month and half later my transmission takes a **** on me.

yup yeah dude thats what happened to me as well. I had a leak and 3.5 weeks later it went out. By the way this was my 5th tranny. I use the car as an everyday driver so I need to know where too get a good tranny that will still perform on the track as well.
It is almost to long of an explanation to type give me a call at the shop and I will explain. It has to due with mileage and build up inside the tranny. 713-466-9900
