I'm looking to get headers for my 2001 Camaro SS. But was wondering what everyone in Houston might be using. One of my concerns is getting into my drive way. Don;t know about everyone esle around here but the drive ways are a little steap. Can anyone let me know what headers they are using and if they have any problems getting in and out of driveways. Also I only been living here for around a year now and was wondering about the Laws on the inspection. Don;t know if I should get the Cats or off road y. Thanks!

Kooks and ORY. I have never had any clearance issues. Weather you go with cat or ORY depends. If you know someone that can hook you up on an inspection then go ORY. Other wise I would go with cats. Be aware that if you go with an ORY you are going to have some rasp. It bothers some people and others it dosen't. Here is a pic of my setup and a vid of what the rasp sounds like on my car.

This is the vid. It's a cold start so I just let it idle for a minute. At about 1min into it you can hear the rasp.

Thanks guys for the info and Pics. I think I will go with the Kooks headers and cated Y with the magnaflow exhust. What size you think I should go with. I'm new to all this and I notice that there are different sizes 1 3/4 and 1 7/8.

I have pacesetters with a custom ORY, almost never have had a problem with clearance, but my car is lowered and there are always those certain situations where it wills scrape just a tad.
