Tech owns A&M and they will blow out the Ags this Satuday, while covering the point spread. Leach hates A&M and will show no mercy.

One of the first statements by an Aggie on this board that's made sense in the past 2 weeks! I agree completely with you....we'll have to learn to stop the run/option to hold A&M back....we'll put plenty of points on the board, but unless we can stop your run, it's just going to be a shoot-out.

It all depends on if A&M's secondary can cover the pass plays, and if tech's defense can stop the run game. Those will be the two determining factors for this game.

A&M's only chance is to hold the ball for 40+ minutes, and even then it might not be enough. Or they could just grow some nuts and cover somebody, but we all know that aint gonna happen. I could see it being close and I can see Tech routing A&M, just gonna have to watch to find out...

I'll take Tech -8 for $50 is there are any Aggie fans out there who want to do it.

Yes we will. If we're lucky, maybe another goal post as well!

I was kinda dissapointed with Tech's passing game against Iowa state on Saturday. I FINALLY got off work to see the game for once in person with high hopes of seeing Crabtree score another 4-5 TDs, but with no luck. IMO, not our best week, but good enough

^^But they spread the ball around much more instead...Amendola had the ball quite a bit, as did Shannon Woods and a few others. They covered Crabtree decently IMO.

i'd prefer an aerial display over a ground game anyday...it's not like they're rushing for 200+ yards a game...Tech HAS to be averaging over 400 yards in the air a game...

someone find that stat !!!!

I think the reason that Iowa St. was able to somewhat limit Tech's offense was due to Cyclones head coach Gene Chizik, who ran Texas' defense the two previous years and did a very good job of shutting Tech down. His familiarity and experience had a lot to do with that.

A&M has not seen another passing team like Tech this year and will not be able to overcome the avalanche coming down hill at them. Sure the Ags running the ball to try and keep the ball out of Tech's hands is the smart thing to do, but when A&M gets behind too much and they're forced to have to pass the ball to play catch up they're in big trouble with McGee. Here is where Aggie DC Gary _arnell is going to be exposed.

I found slightly different numbers here.

Passing Yards Avg Per Game: 513.0
Rushing Yards Avg Per Game: 77.2

How can you be mad when Harrell still passed for over 450 yards?

i can see two things happening... it will either be a ridiculously high scoring game with both teams having 40+ points each... or techs defense will step up and it will be a blow out...
