msd Dist/ign box well this is not even a GM vehicle, but ya
i have an 84 ranger with a lil beffed up 302 tucked nicly inside of the engine bay. i bought it as it sits and drove it for about 2 months and parked it , and now i got some slicks for it and wanted to drive it, it started and drove it down the drivway and died, and it would start ever so often and now it would not start up would not fire what so ever. so i replaced the ign module and still no fire. But whats wierd is when i turn the key off and i have the coil wire just pulled off and layed on some metal it will ARC when the key is turned off(only once tho), so then i repleace the dist sith a brand new one and still no fire , but this time it would not even arc when the key is turned off. any input would be aweseom but hear another ????
what if i buy a msd billit dist and a msd 6, 7, 8 , or 10 al box...wil it by pass my stock ignition box??just wondering???im a ford tech for NEW cars but not for stuff older than i am .hahah
im only 20 give me a break..
