Unhappy po106/po174

threw these codes out of no where and now car is acting weird like if it wants to die out are something, i check o2 sensors but they are good, because it did this before and my o2 was out but it is throwing po106 and po174, what all should i check, i am going to change plugs and fuel filter tomorrow!

note: i just replaced the tail shaft housing but don't think this had anything to do with it?
now when i turn the a/c on it makes a weird noise??? what the hell i think my car is pissed off at me!

Hey Kidd... nice to meet you yesterday!

The po106 code is related to the MAP sensor, which is located at the back of the intake manifold... check to make sure that it was not broken or disturbed when the tranny was out, check the harness back there very well.

The po174 code is right bank too lean.... basically the passengers side O2 sensor is reporting a lean condition... check the harness as they can get into the headers/exhaust after a tranny R&R. if that looks good slap an O2 sensor in it and see what happens.

Another thing though, the MAP sensor and O2 sensor codes could be related. Not likely as the right side is not lean as well, but take the time to inspect the wiring harnes very, very good. Make sure the grounds at the back of the heads are properly fastened.

Call me if you need some assistance today, I'll be here until about 1:00 this afternoon.

Good Luck with the Bullet!
