Camping Parks in Texas??

Default Camping Parks in Texas??

i was looking for a park for camping in Texas, I ran throught a lot of 'em, do u guys recommend any parks, would be better if it was in the south and west.

Canyon lake has some nice stuff.

Lake Somerville is nothing but camping I believe. I think it's a state park too, so there are no houses right on the lake. But I'd definitely check out Canyon Lake first, it's so much nicer.

hey man check out garner state park... Its by far the best place i have been camping in texas, it right on the frio rio, and there are some texas size hills to go walk up and some caves to go in... nice place but you need to book in advance gets busy

Big Bend in south Texas... Havent been yet, but plan on going sometime

Possum Kingdom State Park! They have areas for campers, where you're still close enough to walk to the water's edge too! It's pretty heavily wooded in some of these areas, and deer roam through the park at night which makes for a good time for young'ens! I love that place! You can also rent Seadoo's, paddle boats, etc if you'd like.

I like kerrville state park and also enchanted rock. Enchanted Rock has some really great climbing and stuff.
