I've been saying that forever to my Aggie friend. He thinks we only have talent because we pay our players. It's a good defense.

Lol those remind me of lyrics to the spoof song Sweet Home College Station;

"Well the world makes Aggie Joke now,
They all poke fun now and then,
But we always laugh the loudest,
Because we know the joke's on them!"

I dont get upset about the joking, really I enjoy a good Aggie joke. My mom went to UT and my dad to A&M, my mom has an old book of Aggie jokes from prolly the 70s and the stuff in there is hilarious! I do like a good joke at the expense of the horns as well.

I would venture to guess most successful programs have some kinda perks for there players. I think they should, those athletes are given **** to live off of and getting a job is next to impossible if they are wanting to stay at the top of there game. A&M is a team in trouble now, and UT is not fairing so well this season, but hopefully they both can be top programs again soon. The world is a better place when those two teams are dominant. Well them and ND

Wow, I was just checking out scores and noticed the KU/A&M game which was 17-3. Which doesn't surprise me that much because Kansas is really good this year. What surprises me was that A&M kicked a field goal after being 4 yards from the goal. Was that right? I'm not actually watching the game, but did see the box score. Now, somebody is smoking crack here. Don't you GO FOR IT on a 4th down and only 4 yards to the end zone and when your down by 17 points and halfway through the 4th quarter???? Just give it to that J-train dude. SURELY he can get 4 lousy yards. Does Fran have ANY nuts at all? That is crazy. It reminds me of the OU/A&M game last year. All I can say is Fran must be really trying hard to get fired.

So A&M goes to Lincoln and puts it on Nebraska. Nebraska comes to Austin and loses by 3 if I remember correctly. What the hell is going on in college football this year ? What a weird season. It is shaping up for a pretty good game IMO when UT play A&M. Now if by some weird 3rd dimension force involved reason A&M stuns OU I will have to officially be lost this year.

Just having a little fun on a Friday. Okay, A&M won last year's game 12-7. Does that make you feel better? Geez, don't take yourself so seriously.

Just curious if you wouldn't mind posting all of A&M's national championships.

I thought A&M had 1 football national title from way back in the 1930s or something like that?

As far as total national championships go in the big 12, Okie State has us all beat with 48 national championships:

A&M actually has 10 national championships. One Football ('39), three softball, and six equestrian

This is comming from an Aggie sitting in the student computing center.
