I thought that you couldn't pass to someone back field? only lateral. That looked like a lot of just tossing it up.

You can throw it as much as you want, and from anywhere on the field, as long as the person you throw it to is behind you.

Man I thought a play we did back in high school with four laterals on our team resulting in a fumble and the other team recovering, then fumbling and being recovered by a gaurd for our team and having all of us linemen make a convoy of fat guys and block for him and having him score was crazy.

That was just plain awesome. Would have loved to been there
