Default Houston Wheel Repair

Has anybody here every used any of those tire and wheel repair places in HOUSTON? I am thinking about sending the wheels of a Turbo Transam for some cosmetics since I cant seem to find those gold flakes with the lips anymore. While were here on the subject, is there anybody here or know anybody that is selling their rims for these cars? A picture of them can be seen by clicking on the links on my signature.

Thanks ahead anybody for any non keyboard warrior input.

Wheels America off of 290 has repaired two wheels for me, thanks to my wife disagreeing with the location of curbs. They did a great job. Quick turnaround too, like 1 day.

Thanks 9,
but of course she disagreed, especially when the curbs came out and raked her rims. Did they have to do any rebending or just buffing out the rash?

One was slightly bent and they had to weld the lip to build up material, then machine smooth and polish. The other had rash about 1/4 around the lip, and it had to be machined back smooth and polished.

if you prefer SW houston, SABS at the corner of BW8 and 59S has done a good job for me in the past.

Just two more questions 9 and thanks.

1) Did they do such a good job on your rims that it's really hard to tell from 3 feet away unless your looking for it?

2) Did they charge extra to weld/build up material on the lip?

.......and thanks Tiago for the information, however, I'm on the North side and rarely have time to venture out.

they repaired my wheels (DPE Forged on the C6) to brand new condition. They charge a flat rate for all wheel repairs, unless it is chrome. Chrome wheels cost much more to repair.
