you sure that's for an 8" sub? looks more like it should fit a 10"?

you are right its for a 10" sub,

The hole is about 9.5"

I bought this froma stereo shop in Austin a long time ago, been sitting in the closet since then,

have you used the box? i built one myself that is about the same size and i've blown 2 subs already b/c of the lack of air space...
