I have an 8.8 with 35 spline MW gundrilled axles and a lightweight spool Centersection.

Has 9 in ends welded on to it, pretty heavy duty stuff.

what you need to do is quit buying cheaper stuff and having to spend a **** ton of money modifying it to get it to fit in your car. Buy a 12 bolt or a 9in made for your car and not worry about having to lengthen the axles. You will end up spending more in the long run it seems like.

this is a drop in 9" ford for a 4th gen camaro, has the torque arm bracket etc. It was shortened 3" on each side for a mini tub and had 35 spline axles with it. Does not have a center section. So I dont see how you say im going cheap, ask before assuming.

ok so now you have to modify the axle tubes to get them back to stock length so it's not a "drop in" etc. ha ha. Racingjunk.com and look for a center section.

still drop in, i could go with an old school offset rim and it would fit perfectly but I want to keep my zR1's so im going to get it widened backto normal or either tub it. But i want to keep the interior in tact

no its not for a mini tub...its for a differant backspacing....i.e. differant wheels than stock....

but i agree piecing stuff together is good if you know what your doing...but not if you have to ask a million questions

and another thing, how the hell are you suppose to gain any knowledge if you dont ask questions, isnt that what the forums are for? if everyone knew everything we wouldnt need forums like this. I like to do all my **** myself, if you guys wanna go out and spend the big buxs because you have it then fine, go do that, if I want to do something my way, im going to do it. Now if someone has a center section I would be more than happy to buy it. Im just trying to see what my options are for on this rearend. **** I may even keep it short and go with a deeper, more agressive dish look for the wheels or some big dish prostars.

yea do that and sell your zr1's

you can get a ceter section from jegs...your looking in the wrong area post in the wtb section if you havent....

its not about asking a million questions, if youve already got axles then you need a pretty specific center section...your chance to find one is slim...then you need it leingthened, should have looked into that before you bought it
