measured them, stock axles are 32" and these are 27.5", not sure how long the axles are for the 9" ford for the fbody but i think they are longer than 27.5". well one is that size the other is either shorter or longer.

Now thats a spacer. Being on the rear, you gonna take it easy with them bolted up? Those look like a headache waiting to happen.

wtf? thts a good idea..cant believe it will work though..im goana look into this

can you get those spaceers with bigger studs? on the axle and wheel?

also whats the risk in these over running a typical 1/4 or 5/16 "spacer" are these more likely to break

It will work fine. They are alot stronger than regular (typical) 1/4 or 5/16 spacers because they are a higher quality and stronger and solid. I wouldnt recommend stacking them but I found these 3" spacers, cant find any bigger but I found anything else you could want under it. I am using the long studs for the spacer and will prob double up on the lugs on each one. Then will replace the ones that come in it as pictured with long ones also. You can take out the ones they come with and put in your own and will work with long ones fine. Ive used these type of spacers before and they are all over ebay. But the 3" I couldnt find but I got a guy who actually has them and could send anyone the link that needs it. The studs im using on my axles:
