Just heard on the stereo about it...he was a great biker....lousy husband and father though....apparently he was a real meanie..........Snake River canyon was a joke...I watched it on " Wide World Of Sports "...didn't make it..and it was not a motorcycle as advertised by him..it was a Rocket with some wheels.. He sure was a Showman though...haven't heard much about his son, Robbie, in a long time.
