It is indeed mounted in the rear. Try doing a clutch install on one!

Everybody has their own interests in different cars and knowledge of different degrees. I'm more of an ls1 fan obvously and havent ventured out on knowing what exactly a new vette is made up of. You might say that I'm comparing apples to oranges but what I'm trying to say is that would be like me saying something like "You didnt know that TaurusSHO's came with the detuned Yamaha engines from Japan with 300 hp?". Sure , a vette is more prestige and popular but there are still some of us here that did not know the complete spectrum mechanicals of a vette, but that doesnt make us any less intelligent.

They're biased. They are uncomfortable wth an american car costing many thousands less than what they build so naturally they're going to throw a little mud.

Yea, that's amazing. They only need to use a gallon of paint because less is wasted (positivly charged paint, negative charged body or vice versa?). More stuff I learn about this as I watch this.

I apologize if what I said seemed condescending, didn't mean it in that manner.

On a side note, those SHO's can get pretty quick.

I apologze if I seemed defensive, internet words are sometimes hard to gauge because it's only text. That's why I use a handicap (smilies etc) as an aid to what I'm saying. Probably 95% of anybody reading me can tell I'm docile.

SHO's were made for highway gearing. A manual 89 to 95 will beat a stock Mustang GT on the freeway anyday, however, taking off is a different animal It's too bad we dont have our get togethers anymore like we used too (there were about 12 of us relgeously everyweekend), but the SHO's are a dying breed and very hard and expensive to modify compared to the price of an ls1. However, many people would be very surprised if they ever got the experience a time when they got beat by a four door sedan!
