Any Mountain Bikers here?

Any Mountain Bikers here? I'm just getting out of the Marine Corps and my knees are destroyed. So I've taken to mountain biking to stay in shape, and it's actually a lot of fun.
Thing is... I hate riding alone, and everyone I know isn't interested. Except Joe ((ex-SS-ve) who hasn't coughed up the cash for a bike yet... lol.
I thought maybe there's someone in the East Texas area that would like to meet up a couple times a week for a ride. I usually try to find obscure nature trails to ride on, and any info of those around here would be great to have. Tyler state park looks like a great place to ride... I think I'm gonna check that out Thursday.
Mainly, I don't like the dangers of riding alone in some of the places I ride. If I got hurt, it could be days before I was found... lol.
Let me know if anyone's interested.
