Jezus you guys, how the hell are you getting so much back. Are you single and put like 5 dependants? I put one on mine and it comes out pretty close each year. I'm not a big fan of giving the government a loan all year long so they can make interest off my money. I would rather put the interest in my own pocket.

Edit: I'm retarded, meant to say are you married with 5 dependants and claim single and 0. I'm still surprised at how much you guys get back. A lot of deductions or what?

MESS Jan 15, 2008 01:49 PM

I hope my 7 month old will bring in some cash, that sounds bad

Well Im bad about spending $. Ill piss it all away. Uncle sam fucks you one way or the other. So I look at is as a bouns at the end of the year. I pay uncle sam over 20k a year :barf: I know he is using it but fuck it.

will69camaro Jan 15, 2008 01:52 PM

I have only myself to claim, I took out max on taxes, knowing that I didn't want to pay like I did last year. This year I made considerably more, so they took like 8-9k out in taxes and I think I should have paid in like 2.5-3k

We'll see, I hope it's good so I can build my motor!

It is fucking stupid since I pay my child support, but they still take my taxes.
Some dumb NM law/rule.....

If I got it in my paycheck I'd spend it... when I get it at the end of the year... I can invest it or buy ANOTHER car or something...

They get giantic returns because they claim 0 on their W4 and single. So if they make a butt load of money every year and have itemized deductions, then their return will be humongus.........

the more you claim on your W4, the less Fed Withholding they will take.

willyss01 Jan 15, 2008 03:00 PM

yeah im a little afraid. im hopin to get back 4 or 5 but i made more this year so i dont know. I went up 8k from last year. i paid in 9k and i have a 2yr old. I hopin i can get enough to get the cam .

I am getting married May 10th and I will have a kid popped out before the end of the new year. Buying some land and put some chickens and goatson it ....Tax deductions ***

Can you tell I hate taxes.

kenp Jan 15, 2008 03:08 PM

I pay quarterly and always have to pay a few thou at filing time. I just try to avoid penalties. I do not want either the fed or the state to owe me money at filing time.
