11 second T/A
I have a 99 T/A m6 with 224/224-581/581-112 cam and full bolt-ons. I would like to know what you guy's think I would run in the quater mile, I was told it should be in the high 11's. Can some one help me get into the 11's.

seeing as how you are on a stock 10 bolt and running those slicks with a 6 speed i say you will run a 12.3 after a few runs and then end up breaking the rearend. Ask me how i know. Now if it was in an auto i would say yah high 11s. But not with a stick and stock rearend.

Autos run faster because sticky tires and a stall help out more than anything. Also, an auto is ten times easier on the rear end, as you're preloading it, instead of simply dumping 380-400 horsepower on the rear end suddenly. The autos will trap a lower mph, but usually make up for it in ET, provided the 60 foot is there. Ask me how I know.

They generally don't get as high of an mph in the run I'm not sure where you got that from.
They all make the same power at the crank but yet at the wheels an auto will normally make less power since it loses a greater percentage through its tranny vs the manual tranny.

What rpm is it best to launch at the track with a stock 10 bolt rear end.. With an M6, of course... And slicks/drag radials.
