engine rebuild
engine rebuild well, i am thinking about having my engine rebuilt in a month or two and i am torn on what route to take. i have a 97 ss and i am looking for reliability, longevity, and more horsepower than factory. i was on extreme horsepower's (xhpsolutions.com) website looking at their 355 lt1 and budget lt1 setup. any opinions on what would fit the bill? i was also told about allen motorsports in southeast dallas that also builds many lt1's. opinions welcome.

We build allot of lt1's also and if you are on a budget, you can reuse the crank if it is good or go with a steel gm shaft. We use the old school "pink rods" with arp bolts and coated speed pro's. As I mentioned before this is when customers want something stronger than stock on a tight budget. Heads/cam/intake work is totally up to your pocket book
