Default The woodlands

Hey guys, I came down to Huston Friday. I picked up my Z06 at a dealership in Conroe. I flew in to Bush from Nashville. I went through Huston and surrounding burbs, I just wanted to say the woodlands and surrounding area was a great town. I love the lay out and everything about it!! If I ever move I will be coming to stay with you guys. Great city and great people, just wanted to let you know you all made a great impression on me.

Sugar Land doesn't compare, I used to work there. No trees!

I'm building a new home in the Woodlands this year.

The woodlands is probably the nicest suburb IMO. Ive been to lots of places around Houston doing outside sales, and I like the woodlands more and more every time. There are quite a few nice areas of the city itself too.

Tony, I am in the housing/construction business and I asked how it was going there with the market falling everywhere. I was told its very strong and always has been, the gentleman said it was due to everything there being tied in with oil. Here in Nashville my fathers company which I work for went from 250+ houses in 05 to 114 houses in 07. So we are seeing a big drop, if it should drop a lot further I think I have already found a city to meet our needs.

The Woodlands has not took the drastic hit like the rest of the country, for the last 8 years it has always been above average. And like everybody has said The Woodlands is the best but it takes a while to learn where everything is, most businesses are masked from the roads by trees, which is very pleasing to the eye, all the best resturants and over 150 miles of Hike and Bike trails.

the woodalnds > rest of houston

The woodlands is probably one of the last areas that would loose value. Houston is unable to anex it, space out here is becoming less and less existant, and because of how the woodlands community association and the woodlands association control and run the city. Most people out here belong to one of the two and because people care about the city; it doesnt go to **** like others.
