Default Price for 4l60e & transfer case

Looking for some advice here from some people who might know better than me. I am looking at picking up a complete drivetrain out of a newer tahoe/pickup. It is the 5.3 4l60e &transfer case. I have been wanting an LS based motor for my Jeep for a long time. I don't need the rest of the drivetrain so I was wondering what it might sell for used. I am just trying to see if this is feasible for me $$$ wise.

With the tcase and all I would expect it to be around 2000-2800 or so. You just have to be careful and get the manual shift case since most are autotrac case.

That's what I thought. I was thinking of buying the whole thing and keeping the motor. Then I would just sell the tranny/tcase. I am pretty sure it is Autotrac though.
