I hit a guy who decided to stop sideways in the middle of my lane about 30 ft in front of me and i couldnt stop

im a bodyman and alot of people think it will never be the same after its been hit. i would take to a dealership bodyshop over any independent bodyshop for sure! if the frame damage isnt this bad they may pull it. but it sounds like you got slamed pretty hard! if you go thru insurance they may total it so got cet price quotes! GOOD LUCK MAN SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS! post pics!

I have 3 brother-in-laws that have body shops. They would never recommend the dealer over an independant..
Wife had a fendor bendor and we took to the dealership... That was the worst ******* work I have ever seen done.. We had to take the car back 3 times to get them to get it right.. And they kept telling me they had their best guy on it.
I personally would go somewhere else.. Maybe find a place that will not report the repairs, so carfax is clean..
IMO.... I could recommend... lmk.
its in plano and they do some freakin awsome work. They repaird my 03 mustang GT that was t-boned, and this baby looked good after they were done. You would not ever think it was t-boned...

What insurance Company does the girl use? Also, what insurance do you have? I have a friend that is an adjuster for State Farm... As well as an Attourney in Denton that you "may" consider contacting.
Was there a Police report? Was the girl cited? did you refuse medical attention.. It's NOT too late..

Thanks man.. I got word late last night that the frame is not affecting alignment or suspension.. so they are going to be able to repair it.. Thank God.. I think, I want to know if I will be able to get some money back for the car losing value due to accident.. if the car is sold they will know and I won't get a fair price.. what do yall think

Not to of pushed it too far, but hell if you could of gotten 3 or 4 grand from the girls insurance company, would of been some nice extra cash to put into car after it was fixed.
My buddies were in a car that got slammed from a red light runner.. they went to hospital, then got checks from the insurance company. Each one got around 3 grand...
They had just dropped me off.... dammit...

Shawn... the day you pick it up plan the time to take it right over to my shop. We'll pick it up and take a long look around. That is a big estimate and lot's of work will be done.

Yep, I always have a close look and make sure a buddy of mine who is good with this stuff comes over to check it out shortly after.
I have never had a car done right the first time. It just doesn't happen.
