Power window problem, need help asap!!
Power window problem, need help asap!! Guys I put in my new window motor about a week ago and on my passenger side and it worked fine except the fact that it is considerably slower than my drivers side window. It is my understanding that this is due to the power loss due to the length of the wiring going to that motor. So today I wanted to give it a more direct power source and I think I messed up, I started a thread in the General area...never got a response. Please I need some help here....I think I may be buying another window motor. 
More than likely the window motor died. Pull the switch panel out on the passenger side. Then locate the brown and blue wires on the switch panel harness. Those go directly to the motor to go up ground brown and power blue it should go up to go down reverse power and ground on the abve mentioned wire colors. If it works motor is fine. Then it will be a switch problem. I'd change both switches when I changed them in my firebird the motors sped up considerably.
