From: TEXAS! Is there anywhere else?

Here is my problem with the 2. My sons new truck has Sirius in it and my new car has XM. I hate to think that I have to pay for 2 separate subscriptions.

Now the stupid question.....Can you change what is in your car? Or do I have to get a new receiver for one of us?

I have kept up with it also. Its not going to happen. FCC called it a monopoly and said no. Sirius gave up and stopped trying to buy XM. Unless you have some information that I dont know about then its news to me. I woudl like to read up on some of it. Thanks, Josh

I love my xm... however it seems to be getting a few more commercials than they used too..

Not done yet. If you look at the Record Documents section, some were files as late as Jan 29th, 2008. If this was done why would documents still be accepted?

I've noticed that too.. Originally one of the big selling/promotional points was that it was commercial free... Apparently that is no longer the case

Just ordered the Sirius Sporster 5 and an adapter for my Alpine Headunit. I'm going to be building a gauge cluster for my AEM A/F Gauge, HKS EVC VI, and now the Sirius

Isnt buying them out still merging? I am not againest this, I hope it happens, more station for us, but the reality is that it probably wont.

You are crazy. Fm radio is crap. Listen to sirius more and you wont go back. If I cant listen to my xm I turn the radio off, lol.

Sirius!

I've had Sirius for 3 years now and will never change.I don't buy CD's at all.I've listened to both and for my preferences theres only one choice.I don't listen to Howard much,his ego has taken over.Covino and Rich on Maxim Radio is more my style.
Basically I'm on Octane 90% of the time,with some Alt. Nation,Hair Nation,Lithium,and Sirius Hits 1 in between.
The FCC prolly won't let em' merge but they keep talking about it because it pushes their stock prices up or down everytime it's mentioned.
Sirius all the way!

Just about to get XM. Had it in a rental car and it was awesome. I am into dance/trance music and XM has 3 stations for this, as sirius only has 1. Thats basically the only reason I bought it...lol.
