Did you look at the southdown area of Pearland by 288? I know when I was looking there were several houses I saw in there w/ the same sq ft or a bit more/less for around the same price $100,000-130k. Houses in there are about 10 years older than yours and the taxes are right around 2.9 in that older area. I ended up in the older part of pearland, found a deal, but I really liked living by 288 (apartment) because of the convenience factor.

Really, that will be interesting to find out now. If he still had it I would offer to race for the washer/dryer

It's out there in my perspective. I live/work/go to school near downtown. But nice house man I'm hoping the market stays the same cause by the end of the year I should be ready to buy a house.

Yes the home market does suck right now making it an awesome time to buy. Although this is not a good time for my father being he is a home builder. Congrats on the new home. It looks like it will be a nice starter.

My car will stay put where it is safe and sound out at my dad's shop. I might have it at the house every once in a while but for the most part it wills stay out there.

That's cool. I don't know if I will make it out this weekend or not. I have a lot going on right now with this house and other stuff and need to find a few minutes for my car so that I can try to get it to the track on Sunday.
