Default FS: 4200 Torque Converter

This is for a LS1. TCS 4200 2.7 STR stall converter $200 shipped. This converter sold for $875 4 years ago. Somewhere between 16-20k miles. Never been damaged. In my car it would footbrake to 3500RPM. 5000-5300RPM shift extension. This is a very loose converter. It feels like your tranny is slipping, but will lockup between 35-45 MPH. It will take getting use to it. It is made for N/A applications. No worse than a 1.61 60ft. and a best of 1.51 60ft. It put down 410rwhp 379rwt locked when i had my H/C setup and put down 484rwhp 423rwt locked on my 402. Circle-D will cut and clean for $150 if you decide to do that. If so, you can have a brand new converter for under $400. Reason for selling, is that I am going to spray the car and went with a custom Circle-D converter. If you have any more questions, just ask................
