Stereo shops Look i have an 02 Z28 and i want to put in a new radio and speakers. The stock systems causes issues, so who can tell me where to go and get this done, by people who know what they are doing, and will not rip me off in the central texas area. Keep in mind im near Fort Hood and killeen.

The problem with doing the front speakers myself is that the stock speakers are 2 ohms and all speakers now are 4 ohms unless i order new stock spaekers but whats the point in that. The wire from the head unit to the door speakers would have to be changed out cause if i try to just make four wire into two ill fry the speakers. The back spaekers were not an issue.
The head unit is very easy to switch out. All you need is a dash kit, and a wiring harness. It will take no longer than 30-45 mins. If you dont feel comfortable doing the front speakers any decent shop can install them for about $40-$60. Dont pay more than $75.
