first, I read awhile ago (back when the C6 Z06 first came out) in a few magazines that it was amazing how the Z06 with bigger and better (brakes, engine, suspension, wheels, etc) all around components still weighed in roughly the same as a base model corvette. honesty SORRY, I was mistaken

BUT, notice how i used the word "think" you are wrong. glad you jumped all over my *** about something so trivial. glad your a big bad ethug on LS1tech. Your sig is really intimidating, yet so classy at the same time. I would be more than happy show you the tail lights of my rustang.

I personally know a guy that has an 07 Z06 with a cam, bolt-ons, etc and his car weighed in at 3233lbs w/o him in it. I know... he must have got a lemon fatass Z06 with the frame made out of lead.

08 Z06 3132lbs. http://autos.yahoo.com/chevrolet_cor...3-specs/?p=ext

08 Z51 Vette 3215lbs http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=5708

Numbers are going to vary from source to source, but it sure as hell isnt 200lbs lighter like you originally stated.

Best Wishes,
Dumb Mustang Owner

In south Texas usually the regular corvette is in the 60's and the Z06 Runs on the 80's. Thats why i was surprise on the price of the corvette.

Believe your sig? whats that supposed to mean? There is an idiotic qoute that indicates you are either (a.) a lowlife from some trailer park OR (b.) a 16 year old that thinks he is hot ****. Im leaning towards answer "a", because you made a horrible attempt at spelling the word "granted" (wtf is "grantide" ) and you cant count. The references I posted wasnt even a 100lb difference, no less the 200lbs you originally stated. Please do us all a favor and go back to elementry school. They teach people how to spell and count there.

GM sight? yeah it is. At least you can read. I liked LS1tech when I owned an LS1 and I still like it. So im still here.

I already said I was wrong about the Z06 and C6 weight. But you werent any closer to being right saying its a 200lb difference. So please by all means keep spreading your ignorance and incorrect information.

ethug? well that was when you jumped all over my **** and followed it up by

your going to need metal screws, i remember my T/As doors were pretty big.

yeah you did say I think. So you werent really wrong. Sorry, I should have gave you the same leniency you gave me when i said "i think your wrong."

But, no, you felt the need to be a ***** about it, now look where we are....nowhere...arguing over nothing. Calling me Mustang boy, mustang this, mustang that, stick to mustangs .....like im as ignorant as you in your own little LS1tech world. do i need to be classified? I have respect for T/As and camaros and vettes, and whatever.

I love when people rag on others for spelling while making all sorts of grammatical errors themselves. How about some punctuation & capitalization there, is that not as important as spelling?

BTW, happy your friend got the Z, hope he lets you drive it some. Wouldn't have been my color of choice, but hey, to each their own.
