Where is a good place to get a hotel that is in the area? I don't want to be late for the interview because I can't find the office coming from Waco.

get one further up 45. dont get one too close to the ofice. Its not a good part of town to be in.

I'm ready for school to be done as well! I'm worried about it approaching so fast but ready to get to work. I have a LT1/T56 in my 69 camaro for now. Maybe I can convince Tony to part with a 6.2 (if he picked any up, and if he still has them) and we can use the old motor from the 69 to help keep the vessels in place

Well I appreciate all the help from everyone who has PMed me. I hope to meet everyone when I come down and introduce myself. Does anyone else have any advice/coffee making tips for me?

Do you like curry!?!?! Helix is currently shipping all new interns to India. Moreover, be yourself in the interview and you will do fine. BTW where did you go to school in Dallas?

Yea definitely try to travel. That was the only thing I wish I had gotten to do during my internship. I do realize that with my short term (winter only) it wasn't very feasible. Good luck in the interview, just relax, they're a pretty cool bunch as you can tell by the ones posting in here

If you spend the whole summer here you should get some offshroe time. I doubt you will be going overseas though. You will probably get to assist people running GOM jobs.

It's all about Lake Highlands baby! No really you should go offshore at least once in the GOM during your internship. No matter what anyone tells you, stay away from the swimming pool on the back deck.
