Default Bogus Ticket on 610

I was exiting Stella Link on 610 whena cop that was IN FRONT of me on the shoulder pulls me over. I was doing 55mph max, or less. Anyway, he gets out and tells me that an "unmarked" officer about 5 miles back had seen me speed, follow to close, and change lanes without my signal. Now I am not denying doing this, but at the same time I have no idea if I really did. I was not driving dumb or anything at all, just driving home from work as usual. But the cop that gave me the ticket had seen me do NOTHING, and I never saw the "unmarked officer". So what would you guys do, I seriously have NO IDEA if I did any of the **** I was ticketed for, I guess I am just supposed to take the guys word for it? God this is GAY.

That happened to me before. A cop pulled me over and told me that a off-duty officer saw me hauling ***.

I denied everything. He let me go with a warning.

Did you see the news a couple of months back that under cover cops will be in (ex) ups trucks, unmarked cars etc... with dash cams, and radar guns for instances like these. I think it was on click 2 houston. Sucks though.

So you're "that" guy hmm? Triple offender. I bet you were shaving, eating a burrito, and talking on the cell phone too.

Good luck with this.

Spoke to a new guy at a meet last night and he said that he was rolling about 102 down the freeway when his radar was going off like crazy. The only thing he noticed was a unit going the other side of the freeway. He got off around 225 (Pasadena) when a Taurus (Ford) pulled up to the light with him. Two officers told him to pull over that they clocked him blah blah and called HPD. HPD finally came and wrote him a ticket. So it's true, they're out there. I"m still looking for the limousine one, I hear it's on 59 North somewhere. He said his ticket was around $600 +.

This all started because a female high ranking officer in HPD was on a visit, vacation or something to that tune and noticed how well it worked in Wisconsin *sp*. So she decided to bring this to Houston.

Yep same type of "sting" they were talking about on the news. They were running it on610 from Bellaire to 45. They were on the southbound side for a while and then switched to the northbound side. I work for HFD and we were listening to some of it on the scanner. They have video, plates and descriptions of drivers. Its just a matter of time before they get me. I have a pretty good I for the popos but not for what they are rollin in. They are in beaters, limos, minivans, etc.

Also Here in Texas they have redone some traffic laws. Like exhibition of acceleration is now street racing. Even if you get on the gas and have a loud car-a cop can see that as racing and now is a class A misdomenor-meaning your going to jail. I love to race to- but will not destroy my car on some crappy HWY. Sorry bout your ticket, happened to me with a state trooper. Had to pay,I was guilty but learned about a few new laws.

Scott, just keep your fire department sticker on the vehicle and you should be good to go.
