How sure are you of the laws? I'll bet this happened at night, and on private property. Read up on the laws in that situation

I am reasonably certain that you are wrong about this. I have taken the Texas Concealed Handgun course, and read the gun-related laws in depth. You can protect property at night.

Some kids thought it would be funny to climb on top of the church at Watonga and 43rd and shoot cars with a paintball gun. They thought no one would see them since it was night and they were on the roof. What they didnt consider was that being on the roof leaves you no escape route. I got the last laugh!

Yeah, that area isn't the best. My Wife used to live there with her parents. Her parents are still there (LaMonte & WTC Jester). They had people break windows out of cars, try to steal cars, etc. Name it and it happened. The police finally busted a chop shop in a house in the neighborhood. They would steal a car, drive 2 blocks and pull it right into the garage. Then they would dismantle it and sell the parts.

Even after that my father in law has nearly shot 2 diff guys (illegal immigrants he claims) trying to break into his truck which he now parks in the front yard right by the door. Even with the motion activated light coming on they keep trying. I never leave any of our cars over there any more. I just tell them we have somewhere to go and will drive ourselves.

The homes are valuable, but there is some garbage in the area.

Thats the problem. There is no zoning in the city of houston. So you can have a nice area surrounded by ghetto. For example, you can walk north a quarter mile from a section of million dollar houses in my neighborhood and find scrap metal recycling or west half a mile and find a trailer park.

In general, you have to live in a stand alone city (suburb) to get away from this.

One time my house got really fucked up by a group of 15 yr old girls that my lil brother knew(guess he fucked and ditched one of them and wanted revenge, no clue) And all the cars(including my dads county car) were splattered with toothpaste and eggs except my WS6 (I think they knew I invested alot of money in it).

Thanks God.

They wrote really nasty words, and phrases with toothpaste on the cement(stained untill this day..MF'ers)

We waited a couple nights to see if they would show up, my dads a cop, and he told me...haha...to run out and yank one of those girls by the pony tail if they did that **** again..LOFL!

A week later they were stupid enough to post a picture of the whole "man hating gang" in front of my vandalized house on myspace..my dad was in touch with all their parents by dinner time.

Hey Nineball you dont remember this senario happened in Pasadena? The guy killed some punks breaking into his car with a shotgun. They happened to be black, and quanel x raised a bunch of bs about how they shouldn't have been killed, and all this mumbo jumbo. I believe the homeowner got off by the skin of his teeth. (i believe he deserved to get off) Crooks need to be scared.

You have that story completely wrong. The guy shot 2 Columbians as they were leaving his NEIGHBORS house. His neighbor was not home and the shooter watched them break in. He then shot each of them in the back as they were running away so that "they couldn't get away with it." He did not get off, he is still awaiting a Grand Jury hearing.
