Lakers, especially Kobe and Fisher have made it a point that when they play the Jazz this year that it is NOW personal. Why? because the of reception they got when they arrived in Utah earlier this season. Fisher got booed all game long and they lost, but it was one of the first games of the season, so the Lakers took that as disrespect and made a point to beat the Jazz each time they met up after that. And they did... beat them three times, even in Utah! And Kobe by himself destroyed the Jazz last time they met up in Utah, even without starting center Andrew Bynum or the newly aquired Gasol. LAKERS will prevail.

Gasol overrated on our team? For a guy that average 20 points this season along with 10 rebounds and 5 assist a game, i dont think theres much to laugh at..... Gasol's stats almost mirrors that of Tim Duncan, except duncan gets a couple of more rebounds, but makes less assist.

Oh yea... and we got the MVP!!!!!

Me and Donahoe have a couple bets locked in:

$50 tonights game and $50 for the series.

I know CharlieHustle wants $50 on NO if you want to cover that as well Donahoe?

I'll pay via paypal tomorrow if I lose.

Yup. $50 in tonights game and $50 for the series.

Sorry charlie. A total of $100 is a little too much for me to put on an away game. Deerhunter, I'll paypal you tomorrow as well if I lose..

Regardless of season drama... the jazz will give your team some difficulty in this series. Gasol is weak and kobe makes him look good bro.. All he does is layup or dunk off assists. He is nowhere near a performer like TD!!! besides game 1 this series..

If the spurs meet ur lakers I without a doubt know duncan will WIN that matchup everytime.

Jazz is a physical team. Their strong and quick, and it will be a good series. And I'm not saying the LAKERS are going to win JUST because I am a LAKERS fan, but because i know how good they can play. I followed them all year long, just like you follow your Spurs. Last year i knew the LAKERS could make it to the playoffs, but wouldn't go all the way to the Finals... Im not one of those die hard fans that believe their team cant lose.

As far as TD controlling Gasol. He will have better stats than Gasol, but Gasol will get his too.

Can't wait til the SPURS game starts... i wanna see what happens....

Anyone else as surprised by these first 2 games as I am? It's one thing to lose the first 2 games, it's another thing to get blown out in the first 2 games...

exactly. They cant stop chris paul. Spurs just MIGHT be done. They stoped david west but still got blown out. They cant hang with the young fast guys. When the mavs won game three its cause they stoped chris paul. they MIGHT win game three. i think its over.

^^ I agree, SA has disappointed me. I honestly thought we'd have a chance to sweep NO before this series started. I really do think SA has a chance to win in 6. I dont think NO will beat us at home, but damn SA looks like **** in NO. SA has been playing poorly all season in away games.

I dont understand it. TP isnt "old" and he's pretty quick. I thought he'd be able to hang against CP.

He isn't old by any means. It's just incredible, I still don't think NO is that good, but I must be wrong...

No one on SA is doing anything. The spurs looked their best when they put their reserves in early in the 4th. Once they put their starters back in they looked like **** again. . Pop is a badass coach and I think/hope he figures things out.

ok guys the sperms just lost again lol! this feels good since im still upset over the year they beat the lakers and could not win 4 championships in a row lol! i remember crying (high school senior) anyways as much as i hate the aging spurs dont count them out! i believe san antonio will make a series out of this i see 7 games! as for my lakers, utah is a great match up! we will only see what this team is made up of, if they can prevail against the jazz one of the elite teams in the league just look at their home record! the lakers did manage to win there this year only 4 teams can say that! anyways go lakers and dude any kobe haters stop! he is the mvp and deserves it this year! by the way kobes wife is my ex j/k lol!
