I have had no issues with my RPM tune or any of the work they have done.

SQR is closer to you though and is highly recommended. I do hear it is hard to get an appointment.

So did you go back to have it fixed or did you come to the internet to complain first?

So let me get this right, just for my personal humor.

You paid to have the car tuned at RPM, it was tuned. When you picked up the car it idled at 1500rpm's and you left with it like that.

You then later kept your mouth shut for whatever reason and 'fixed' it 'yourself' and never called RPM back or let them know the situation and then continue to ''spread your word''

How'd you fix that problem? j.w

reading gets you farther when you read the whole thing

i said they tuned from idle to 1600 rpm's..... where did i say it was set to idle at 1500 rpms????

they let it idle at 1000 rpms basically cuss they couldnt get the stupid cam to idle correctly any lower, i got it to idle at 850 when i did it myself. i went back another time to get it "refixed" they called me up said it was done come pick it up. i picked it up they lowered the idle alittle and that was it. i drove it around for a while and then got tired of that stupid idle sounding like i was staging at every stop light, then the surging going up and down.... parked the car grabbed my own copy of HPT and compared it to the stock one i had originally. holy fkking **** only up to the 1600 rpm column was touched by adding more fuel... the rest of the VE table was completley fkking stock. oh and the real kicker was when i got that dynosheet that shows your hp and afr lol (what a joke btw) the AFR was at a nice steady 13:1 all the way up the pull.... dont know how that happened when only bacically the whole table was left stock.... interesting.

this is with a ms4 cam.... i know that cam threw off the whole entire VE table

so i said fkk that ****, their customer service was horrible. not going to go back there with them they can keep the 400, that was worth finding out how good of a shop they were.

i didnt say anything public cuss i know fan boys would rise to defend them....just becuase they've spent thousands of dollars with them....

no biggie, it's only DFW area anyways, there are way better shops out there to play with my money.

Did I seem upset when I posted that or was the text not big enough for you to read? I was just interested in the situation for ME just for the fact what you posted was pretty ****** retarded (the first time).

There are a few of unhappy customers with RPM, I don't care what you or they do honestly, I gave my experience to the O/P.

It's obvious that you don't know how to tune a car. I don't doubt that RPM knows how, but they just don't tune it properly. And what i mean by properly is VE, MAF, PE, spark, idle spark, frictional airflow, etc.

Any tuner you go to will NOT tune your car properly. They will give you a idle tune and a WOT tune by masking it with PE and thats it. Its not even a proper WOT tune. It would take along time to dial a car in completely and shops know that and thats why they dont bother with it because they will lose money. I can't blame them. I just hope like they do that the customer doesn't go out and learn to tune on their own and realize how much they got screwed because i did.

see why i kept shut for a year

i just told the OP about my experience, then it was dragged on and on and on by RPM fanboys

and to the other guy, i said i couldnt get the idle to work so i took it to them for them to fix it right..... did not know bumping the RPM's to 1000 was worth 400 bucks these days, hell the RAF wasnt even fixed!!

i learned by having people on here teach me little things, that's why i was able to finally get the whole thing to work WAY better than what that "professional" (ripoff) tune was

anyways i think we are done on sharing our RPM experiences, sides they arnt even a sponsor, technically their name should have never been mentioned
