not really fond of the polished/painted/polished stripe theme there....but you could do something similar where most of it was polished, and a portion in the center was painted in the shape of the chevy bowtie....or the other way around, have it all painted except a polished area in the shape of the bowtie. that would be pretty sweet, i think.
