Um, yeah. I would say that wiring looks rather interesting.
Dang, that sucker looks like it was meant to go in there. That looks good z28evans.
Did you do that straight thru, or work over a period of time. And if straight thru around how long was the conversion?

good job though.

Theres company's that make brackets so you can use the old thirdgen compressor and lines. Otherwise you gotta notch the K-Member if you want to use the LS compressor.

i did the LT1 in a third gen. i know it's pretty different, but if you want to do the wiring yourself, make sure you get diagrams of the bulkhead connector and the other connector that's by the ecm on the thirdgen...i can't think of it's name right now, c207 maybe?? these connectors are where nearly all wires you need to use for the stock gauges, a/c, fuel pump will be.
thirdgen.org had a lot of info and austinthirdgen.org had some of the diagrams i used.
good luck!

well with me selling my 02.. I believe I will get started ASAP on this..
once I do, I will start up with some posts on what I have done, and what I still need, so while I am working it, if someone comes up with other thoughts on what they did, and I should do, they can chime in at any time while I am doing the conversion.

But I did think of that.. ripping the engine, tranny, and all electronics out of it.. LOL.. that would not fly so well though.....

So I have seen a few peeps talking about 1jz and 2jz conversions in the 3rd gens....
I have found like 1 guy that has one... I could not find pics...

But it is suppose to be 700HP 2jz in his 89 3rd gen...

How many people have seen something like this... and is it worth it??
I like the whole fact of twin turbo set up right away....

Plus I have a buddy with a twin turbo 1jz sitting at his house right now that he is not using... LOL... so I would be that much closer...
I seen there is a plate system hook up to merry it up to the 700r4 in the 3rd gen..
and mega squirt it... LOL

What you guys think.. Yeah.. or nah..... makes it too much RICE????

It'll be liked even less than the '69 with the 2JZ that Duy posted about.
