Diminished Value
Diminished Value Has anyone ever had to deal with this on a wreck? My truck is about to be done (its been 2 months) So I will have to start the conversation about payment for Diminished Value. There isn't much concrete info about it anywhere and I really don't want to involve attorneys unless necessary. I just want to have some good info and come to a reasonable figure with the Ins Co and be done.

My wife just did that with her wreck. Hit and run and they finally caught up with them. 
They say its around 50% of the damage?? The bill for her car was almost $5000, she got a little over $2000. Don't know for sure, she handled it.
