Default Need some help plz

I traded my nitrous kit that I had for some prc stage 3 ls6 heads. on TSP website it says that the heads are for big cubic inch combos but all I have is a stock ls1. I sent a pm to Jon at tsp and he told me that the biggest cam that I could probably run would be a 228R without piston modification, so my question is should I keep these heads or should I sell them or trade them for some stage 1.5 or 2.5. also will this combo be close to 400hp?

thanks in advance

Here is the way I look at it. A head change is enough of a PITA and costs enough $$$ to make sure you do it right the first time.

Chances are they have mondo ports that'll kill your bottom end. If this is a track only car, I'd run them w/a big cam. For a street car on stock cubes, I'd go w/smaller ports.

throw them on there with a tr224 or 224/228 cam and have some fun... it will make 400 easy... i made 405rwhp NA untuned with a 232 cam and 94k miles... you'll be fine

thanks for the response fellas and the car only gets driven on the weekends because I have a company truck that I use for work. I really dont want to go with a bigger cam if I decide to keep the heads because I dont fell like taking the engine apart to flycut the pistons, the motor only has 53k miles on it im probably better of selling them or trading them

well im probably going to end up selling them or trading them so if anyone is intrested let me know
1500 obo shipped or trade for 1.5 or 2.5 ls6 or 5.3 heads
