Did it about 15 yrs ago. Was a great natural high. It's amazing. I used see skydiving in a movie and it looked like they were floating or flying.... I soon realize when I jumped that there is no floating or flying, I was a stone until that shoot opened-lol

This is definitely something everyone must do, it's such a rush!
Ask for Dennis to be your instructor, he's cool as hell.

Oh and make sure that when you are under canopy to pull on one of the toggles as hard as you can, it makes you spiral down and speed up, its the most fun thing to do. Just a little FYI...

Now why'd you go and say that?? haha. The 2 that died didn't pack there chutes right, the tandem chutes are packed by the best and most qualified instructors there. I don't believe they have ever had a tandem accident. The backup chutes are unpacked and repacked every day I think to make double sure nothing goes wrong. OP, you have nothing to worry about!! Enjoy your jump!

The plane ride right before mine had a "tearaway", I think thats what it is called, where they have to open the reserve chute. My instructor was talking to another instructor after that and he said "man I'm due for one of those, it's been a while", not something I wanted to hear....lol!
