anybody know about working for the post office???

Default anybody know about working for the post office???

well ive seen they got some openings for the post office, i know its a pretty hard place to get hired but just ordered my study guide today for it and ima go take the test in a few months. anybody have any experience with the postal service, (mailman, service clerk, etc) just curious because my job that i got now at toyota is pretty secure, just wanting some opinions on working for the post office. thanks fellas

Check your tolerance level at the door because they didn't invent the saying "Going Postal" for nothing

They're union, it's a government job, good pay, if you don't like working outside, walking, or the weather, don't consider a mailman, hard to get in, etc.

My friends parents did it for careers, the retirement benefits are pretty good.

Not sure what you're looking for, but when I worked for the Post Office I did data entry @ $14/hr. It was okay for awhile, but typing all day gets old pretty quick. Not to mention they are always having surprise quality assessments that you have to pass to keep your job.

Use email then! Really though, stamps rise about 2 cents every two years, gas rises about two dollars every two years, pick your poison.
