My A/C works very well. So well I can't bring myself to take it off, even to get a 10 second slip...

^^^ I agree...for an all out track car that your in for a few mins at a time..no big deal, but a street car...I can't see ditching the A/C for a couple of 1/10's... especially in Tx.

...so your saying for example if you start the car at say lunch time and drive it for an hour that it's blowing cooler when you first start it up than it is after an hour of driving?

I wish mine were colder. I added some refrigerant a few weeks ago, and it seems like it took awhile to add it, but there was a slightly-noticeable drop in temperature. Any ideas on how I can get it cooler?

I had that problem too when my A/C worked. I couldn't figure out why everybody else had fog glass cold air while I practically had to stick my face up to the vents. Can you imagine how funny that looked driving by in another car?

If I wanted to show up to work as a sweaty mess everyday, then I wouldn't have my A/C either...
