Does that mean you're in the "Slow Street" class too?
With a comment like that, he needs to back it up. I have nothing against bottles at all. In fact, I'm probably going to put nitrous on my car. But when he says he can beat everyone off the bottle... I just hope he's not that naive.
And stewie has told me to take my blower off before. I don't know why though, I still make less power and weigh more than him on motor.

That works for me at the track. I'm shooting for 9.8 and I'll be happy. HA HA. My burnouts should be interesting. I didn't burn out at Ennis and attempted to at Kennedale, but that was a joke. Being that my T/A was an A4...I'm not used to the M6 burnout yet. Arlington isn't the easiest place to inconspicuously burn out with a quiet car like mine.
I would like to see y'all race. Hell, I'd like to see how bad he'd beat me.

The burn out it's self is really pretty simple. Just bring your RPM up a little, sidestep the clutch toward the right and slap that foot on the brake pedal real quick while increasnig your RPM with the right foot. Let off brake and gas at same time and move left foot over to clutch and right foot back onto brake. Apply clutch instantly and brake slower allowing some roll out.
See? Piece of cake.
Seriously though, for street tires I'd just bring the RPM up a little and spin real quick and shut it down. You don't need to do much of a bunt out at all on street tires so there is no need to stand on the brakes. Just spin them a little and get them clean. I found on the TBSS I was .2 sec slower from a longer burn out.

There are plenty of cars there that will make you eat those words.
