valve spring compressor Im in the middle of a cam swap and looking for a valve spring compressor that works on dual springs. I tried the cheap o'riellys lever type but I am worried that it will snap bolts off in the head. If anyone has a valve spring compressor laying around that I could rent/borrow/buy that would be awesome. I am in the DFW area

i used an on-car spring compressor on my LT1 and did all 16. it didnt break but it was a pain in the *** to use with the smaller top diameter springs. all i did was rotate the crack until the piston im working on is at or near tdc. that way you cant loose anything in the combustion chamber. mine is the lever type, but i took out the lever and put in the bolt. way easier. if your using the same one as me i dont see how it could snap bolts off.
