hey i got an idea maybe we should get a few fishing trips going in different locations that way we can get to know some different spots throughout the coast.

That sounds like a great idea, I was thinking about maybe doing and ls1tech fishing trip or possible a deap sea trip some where amybe posisbly even mixing in a car cruise somewhere

ever go to PORT ARANSAS? I love that place you can fish through the day with all the charters thru there then turn around and party at night with all the bars and chill spots...

Thats the other reason we might not be going. It gets really crazy on the water with 100's of boats. And most of them have no clue about how to catch a fish.

Ive been fishing Port Mansfield for 20+ years. I try to go at least 2 times a year. ITs just so nice down there!

I was fishing in Bayou Vista this weekend just in the canal. Caught quite a few croaker, gaftops, sheepsheads, and specks. I've never been to mansfield...sounds like a blast!

Yeah thats a good site.

Never been down to mansfield, sounds nice though. We just got back from a week down at Sargent. Fished only a little in east matty because it was just so damn windy, so we stayed in the bayous and fished the gulf cut and on the surf. Nice little fishing trip, lots of specs/sandies.

Good luck on your trip! We better see some good pics!
