The Movie " 21 " Hey guys,
I just rented this movie and every site I went to said it was the next
" Rounders ". IMO its not even close to touching that badass movie.
I mean its good but it had some suspense let downs. I expected the
edge of the seat feeling a little more.
Not to bad but not up to the hype.

The guy that the movie is based on is on the Jim Rome show; I want to check out the book because it goes into more detail on exactly how they scammed Vegas and how they accomplished the card counting.
I thought it was only an okay movie. If you have a chance to read the book, I promise you it's worlds better. Actually, this is probably why I thought the movie wasn't all that great. If I hadn't read it, I'm sure I'd think differently.
The movie is only loosely based on the actual events and several parts of it were scripted for it. Again, not a bad movie, just didn't hold a candle to the book.

Yeah I was about to say, this movie is more than likely a small gathering of real facts.
But the movie is a must rent. Just would not go out of my way to see it at theatres.

I really feel like if they would have stuck closer to the actual story, it would have been a great movie that might have been somewhere near the relm of "Rounders." The story was already so fantastic and read like a movie from the onset. I didn't feel that there was a need to change it up much, but they did.
My friend and I watched it in about 45 minutes because it had so many dull and boring parts in it. In the end we just about fast forwarded the entire movie. Ok at best, but I'm definitely glad I saw it for free.
