Default What is everybodies next step?

Well for everyone that knows me I finally got the car back. It took a little while but it is back and running stronger than ever. The car has had many different plans but we stuck to the 408. I think the next mod will be a little go go juice, but who knows. I was just wondering what are the next plans for everyone else and there cars. Post them up!!!

Here are some pic's of my car.

Good looking car.

For me, I'm probably going to get seats next, then a Kwiklift (indirect mod), maybe bigger brakes, then start pulling the whole thing apart in preparation for an engine swap. I'm going for a milder route than most people probably would. Looking at an LS2/402, making about 450-500 rwhp. I'm not a racer, but the engine is starting to make some interesting noises and I've got a hunch I've got blowby in at least one cylinder, so rather than throw a heads/cam package on a 107,000 mile shortblock, I'm going to redo the whole thing.

Do it once. Do it right.

My next plans are just installing what I've had...finally moved my tools from my ex's to my new house so I should be starting soon enough:

Force 10 Stainless Steel Brake kit
BMR Front & Rear Sway Bars w/poly bushings
Remote Bottle Opener
Racetronix Fuel Pump
BMR Subframes
...and I think I'm missing a few items.

I am running stock manifolds with a Corsa catback on my 02' Trans Am. I just bought a set of stainless long tubes with the stainless y-pipe (eliminating the cats for now), and also an SLP underdrive pulley I will be putting on this week. Am running 387 RWHP and my goal is to be over 400 RWHP with these additions.

I also just ordered a Textralia OZ700 which I will be putting in to replace my stock clutch oin a couple of weeks after the above additions. Then will re-tune and head to the track for a debut.

I've only really had my Z28 for just over a month now. Aquired it from my father, and he had let some things slide on it the last few years. Need to finish the general maintenace on it, most is done, but going to change plugs and wires, and put a new pass. side power window motor in it.

I haven't done much to it at this point, perf. mods in sig, need to get it over to my buddy for the tune. I'll probably be done for a while for performance mods, going to start really concentrating on the appearance side of things. Should be doing Berger Panel this week. I've also got a set of clear front turn signal lenses and SLP FloorMats ordered. After that, wanting to swap on an SS Spoiler, SLP "Bowtie" Grille, Needs new window tint, Also need the hardtop re-painted, and trying to decide whether I want to go with an SS Hood or Sunoco. I had my mind set on a Sunoco Hood, but man just seems as though they have been extremely popular recently. Oh, and I've got to replace the front speakers for sure, but most likely all of them will be replaced.

Edit: the deal on my Tail Panel that was going to get the Berger treatment done to fell through, so I'm back on the hunt for another one, but that will be my next on the mod list.

(con't)....I guess for future plans after I get what I have installed, I'd like to do a M6 swap, I'm tired of straight line, I'd like to try some road course driving. I may just end up selling the TA & getting a Vette since it would be a much better platform for that type of driving, but the TA is paid for, so that's very appealing to me.

After a M6 swap I'd like to get a 6.0 LS2 block or maybe an LS3 and stroke it if I have the budget for it, FAST intake, larger TB, find another tune (have MTI lifetime so that's useless). I still need a pulley as well.
