Thelma's BBQ downtown. One of the best that you can buy hands down. Sauce is sweet and brisket is awesome.

Heck yeah, I eat there all the time. My friends mom knows the owners and we get free **** all the time.

TO the guy who mentioned grand prize.......OMG They had some brisket that was to die for and their sauce was perfect. Too bad they closed the one in Pearland. I used to eat that **** all the time when I was in high school.

Yep, pretty good, really messy, and just east of downtown actually over sorta by Kim Son. Their sandwiches are huge! Be warned, it's a ghetto over there, so be alert. Lunch time's the only time I've been. Their tea is crazy sweet too & has a strange twang to it, don't want to even know what they put in it, lol.

Lol. Yea, pretty ghetto over there. Lunch is the only time I ever eat there. They give you a gigantic sandwich that has way to much meat on it for like $4.50. Its enought to make 2. Never had the tea. I will try it.

I like Central Texas BBQ.

I've heard Red River isn't too great, but have never tried it myself so I won't write it off.

Go hear to read reviews on almost any place in the Houston area.

I'm east of DT over off Navigation. You ever go to District 7 over near there? They have pretty good burgers.
